THE 2020 ITALIAN WINE GUIDES AWARD THE ST. MAGDALENER

It’s time to celebrate! This year we were awarded with numerous prizes from the most prestigious wine guides of Italy and we are profoundly glad about it. The St. Magdalener klassisch Rondell 2018 of Glögglhof was awarded with the “Tre Bicchieri” of Gambero Rosso, while the St. Magdalener klassisch 2017 of Josephus Mayr (Erbhof Unterganzner), got the award of “Grande Vino” from Slow Wine and the “Corona” from Vinibuoni d’Italia. Further awards followed for the St. Magdalener klassisch of Kellerei Bozen, Pfannenstielhof, Ansitzes Waldgries and Untermoserhof.

Furthermore, the St. Magdalener Anver produced by Hannes Pfeifer (Pfannenstielhof Winery) was awarded with a peculiar prize: the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers (AIS) indeed, gave the winery the Tastevin AIS prize, the prestigious award of excellence that the Association gives every year to one winery of each Italian region.

The success and recognition of these important wine guides highlight once again the excellence and the strong character of our “South-tyreolean” wine.
